The diseases which are cured by the medicines may come back; where in the diseases which are cured by Panchakarma will never come back. Panchakarma procedures are to be done in a healthy person in specific season to eliminate the physiologically accumulated doshas in the body which are due to the effect of specific seasons.

PANCHAKARMA

includes five detoxifying procedures:
VAMANA (induced emesis)
VIRECHANA (induced purgation)
NIRUHAV ASTI (medicated decoctional enema)
ANUVASANA VASTI (medicated oil/ghee enema)
NASYA (administration of medicines through nostrils)

 

VAMANA

15th Feb to 15th Apr

  • Vamana camp is conducted from 15th Feb to 15th Apr of every year, aim of which is to eliminate the physiologically accumulated Kapha dosha from the body so that health of healthy person is maintained. Thus a disease free family and society is created.
  • Vamana (Emesis therapy) means expelling doshas/toxins through oral route. Before inducing vamana the toxins/vitiated doshas are brought to stomach.
  • Vamana procedure is also very effective in bronchial asthma, chronic cough, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, digestion related diseases etc.
  • Admission in the IPD for 7 days is compulsory.

 

VASTI

15th June to 15th Aug

  • Vasti camp is conducted from 15th June to 15th August of every year, aim of which is to eliminate the physiologically aggravated Vata dosha from the body so that health of healthy person is maintained. Thus a disease free family and society is created.
  • Vasti karma is expelling body toxins and vitiated doshas by introducing medicated liquids or oils/ghee through anus. Vasti karma is mainly used in vata dominant diseases.
  • Vasti procedure is also very effective in different types of joint disorders (like rheumatoid arthritis, osteo arthritis, gouty arthritis etc.) lumbar spondylosis, sciatica, obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, longstanding constipation, loss of strength, etc.
  • Admission in the IPD for 8 – 10 days is compulsory.

 

VIRECHANA

15th Oct to 15th Dec

  • Virechana camp is conducted from 15th Oct to 15th Dec of every year, aim of which is to eliminate the physiologically accumulated Pitta dosha from the body so that health of healthy person is maintained. Thus a disease free family and society is created.
  • Virechana is expelling the vitiated doshas and toxins through purgation. This therapy can be conducted as an individual detoxification therapy or as a follow up therapy next to vamana to ensure complete detoxification.
  • Virechana procedure is also very effective in bronchial asthma, cough, skin disorders (psoriasis, eczema), urticaria, lumbar spondylosis, obesity, gastritis, digestion related diseases etc.
  • Admission in the IPD for 10 days is compulsory.
